Bahrain, 8 January, 2025 : Bahrain’s GDP grew by 2.1% in real terms in the third quarter of 2024, compared to the same period in the previous year, according to the Information & eGovernment Authority. The GDP at constant prices reached BD 3,734 million ($9.9 billion), while at current prices, it stood at BD 4,342 million ($11.5 billion).
The growth was driven by a 3.9% increase in the non-oil sector at constant prices, with manufacturing contributing 20.1% to GDP, followed by financial and insurance activities at 17%.
The highest growth rates were recorded in professional, scientific, and technical activities, which grew by 13.8%, and information and communication activities, which grew by 11.9% at constant prices.
