SAMA Licenses SEULAH ALAWLA, Expanding Consumer Microfinance Providers

KSA, 9 January, 2025 : The Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) has licensed "SEULAH ALAWLA" to provide consumer microfinance solutions, increasing the total number of licensed consumer microfinance providers in Saudi Arabia to seven.

With this addition, SAMA now oversees 63 licensed finance companies across various financial services.

This move aligns with SAMA’s efforts to enhance the financial sector, boost transaction efficiency, and foster innovation for financial inclusion.

SAMA reiterates the importance of engaging only with authorized financial institutions. A full list of licensed entities is available on SAMA's official website.
