Ras Al Khaimah Chamber and US Consul-General Discuss Strengthening Trade Relations

UAE, 10 January, 2025 : Mohamed Mosbeh Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Ras Al Khaimah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, met with Robert Raines, US Consul-General in Dubai, to discuss enhancing trade relations and partnerships between business owners in Ras Al Khaimah and the USA. Dr. Ahmed Al Shemeili, Director General of the Chamber, was also present.

The meeting focused on promoting investment opportunities, exchanging visits, and sharing business experiences. Al Nuaimi highlighted Ras Al Khaimah's fast-growing economy and its diverse industries, including mineral resources from the surrounding mountains. He also noted that trade between Ras Al Khaimah and the USA reached AED 1.07 billion in 2023, a 41% increase from the previous year.

Raines praised the UAE-US partnership and reiterated the Consulate's commitment to facilitating trade and organizing business meetings between the two countries. Following the meeting, Al Nuaimi presented a commemorative shield to Raines in honor of his visit.
