Oman, 10 January, 2025 : Omani Minister of Commerce, Industry, and Investment Promotion, Qais bin Mohammad Al-Yousef, highlighted the substantial growth in trade and economic relations between Oman and Saudi Arabia, driven by the alignment of Saudi Vision 2030 and Oman’s Vision 2040.
At a news conference under the theme "Oman and the World," Al-Yousef emphasized the progress made in joint projects, particularly in trade, energy, industry, technology, and tourism. He noted that the opening of a land route connecting Saudi Arabia to Oman has significantly boosted trade, tourism, and public communication between the two nations.
Al-Yousef expressed confidence that the ongoing cooperation will yield strategic benefits for both countries, particularly in the commercial, industrial, and tourism sectors. He also praised Saudi Arabia's advancements in the industrial sector and logistics infrastructure, which offer new opportunities for joint ventures.
The minister mentioned the recent visit of Saudi Commerce Minister Majid Al-Kassabi to Oman, where both sides discussed future initiatives and projects. He concluded by calling the Saudi-Omani partnership a model for Arab economic cooperation, with promising opportunities for further strengthening ties.
