KSA, 14 January, 2025 : The Saudi Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA) has launched the “Saudi Authorized Economic Operator Program” in collaboration with 14 government agencies to offer various administrative, procedural, and financial benefits to importers, exporters, and logistics service providers.
The program, which empowers the logistics sector, aims to streamline trade procedures, enhance competitiveness, and increase supply chain efficiency, ensuring smooth business operations and easier access to global markets.
Participating entities include the Ministries of Energy, Commerce, Transport, and others, along with the Saudi Food and Drug Authority, Saudi Ports Authority, and General Authority of Civil Aviation.
Since its launch in 2018, over 550 commercial establishments have joined the program, which aligns with the World Customs Organization’s standards and is recognized in 80 countries. Importers, exporters, and logistics providers can access detailed benefits and conditions on ZATCA’s website.
