Oman, 20 January, 2025 : The Sultanate of Oman will participate in the World Economic Forum (WEF) 2025, set to take place in Davos, Switzerland, from 20 to 24 January. The event gathers global leaders, entrepreneurs, academics, and civil society representatives to address challenges and explore solutions for sustainable growth.
This year’s WEF focuses on five key areas: advancing the green economy, promoting eco-friendly innovations, transitioning to green energy, achieving sustainable economic growth, and examining the impact of emerging technologies like AI and IoT on economic sectors.
Oman’s delegation, led by Dr. Said Mohammed Al Saqri, Minister of Economy, includes representatives from the public and private sectors. The forum aims to foster collaboration among governments, businesses, and communities to achieve shared goals and support a sustainable, equitable future.
