KSA, 20 January, 2025 : The Ministry of Commerce in Saudi Arabia has reported a significant 60% increase in commercial registrations for 2024 compared to the previous year. A total of 521,969 commercial registrations were issued in 2024, up from 368,038 in 2023. This includes 153,931 registrations for companies and 368,038 for individual establishments.
The report indicates that the surge in registrations spans various economic sectors, with wholesale and retail trade, construction, accommodation and food services, and manufacturing industries leading the growth.
By the end of 2024, the number of active commercial registrations across all regions of Saudi Arabia had reached a total of 1,606,169, reflecting the Kingdom's strong economic growth and business expansion.
