Kuwait Aims for Economic Growth at WEF in Davos

Kuwait, 22 January, 2025 : Kuwait is aiming to enhance its economic status by participating in the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, Switzerland. Finance Minister Nora Al-Fassam, representing His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, stated that Kuwait's presence at the forum aligns with directives from His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, aiming to boost cooperation with global economic bodies and financial institutions.

Al-Fassam emphasized that Kuwait views the WEF as a platform to promote long-term economic development, not only within the country but also across the Middle East and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC). The minister is set to participate in panel discussions addressing sustainable economic growth in the region.
