UAE, 24 January, 2025 : Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone (RAKEZ) and the Department of Economic Development of Ras Al Khaimah (RAK DED) have signed an MoU to enhance business services in the emirate. The agreement was signed by Mohammed Mahmood, Assistant Director-General of RAK DED, and Kutyba Al Issa, Director of Value-Added Services at RAKEZ, during a ceremony at Compass Coworking Centre.
Under the partnership, RAK DED will support RAKEZ in offering services like corporate bank account opening, corporate tax filing, and bookkeeping to businesses in the economic zone. The collaboration aims to streamline operations, improve regulatory compliance, and support business growth.
RAKEZ Group CEO Ramy Jallad highlighted the partnership as a step toward fostering a dynamic environment for businesses to thrive. RAK DED General Manager Dr. Abdulrahman Al Shayeb Al Naqbi noted that the agreement aligns with Ras Al Khaimah's vision to boost investment opportunities and improve its ease of doing business ranking.
