KSA, 27 January, 2025 : His Excellency Mohammed Aljadaan, Saudi Minister of Finance, concluded his participation in the 2025 World Economic Forum (WEF) held in Davos, Switzerland, from January 20-24, under the theme "Collaboration for the Intelligent Age."
In an op-ed for WEF, Minister Aljadaan emphasized the importance of global cooperation in navigating economic challenges, stressing competitiveness, governance, and active engagement in global trade as essential for national prosperity.
At the Saudi House pavilion, he participated in sessions on rethinking growth metrics beyond GDP and fostering stability through international forums. He highlighted Saudi Arabia's efforts to de-escalate regional tensions and focus on inclusive, sustainable growth.
During WEF sessions, Minister Aljadaan discussed the resilience of the Saudi economy under Vision 2030 reforms and the need for committed execution of economic strategies. Addressing the MENA region's potential, he underscored its affordable energy, mineral resources, and young workforce.
In another session, he emphasized the shared challenges and opportunities of GCC nations, calling for regional collaboration to drive global economic growth.
On the sidelines, Minister Aljadaan held bilateral meetings with finance ministers, international leaders, and policymakers to strengthen cooperation and support global economic prosperity.
