Bahrain, 29 January, 2025 : His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Bahrain, met Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni during her official visit to Bahrain at Gudaibiya Palace.
HRH Prince Salman emphasized the long-standing relationship between Bahrain and Italy, built on multi-sectoral collaboration and the support of His Majesty King Hamad. The meeting focused on enhancing bilateral cooperation, particularly in the economic, commercial, and investment sectors, to further mutual aspirations.
The Crown Prince also reaffirmed Bahrain’s commitment to promoting peace, tolerance, and dialogue, highlighting Italy’s role in safeguarding regional and international security.
The meeting was attended by key officials, including Shaikh Isa bin Salman Al Khalifa, Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman Al Khalifa, Deputy Prime Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, and Finance Minister Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa. An official reception ceremony featuring the national anthems of Bahrain and Italy was also held.
