KSA, 25 February, 2025 : The Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) has licensed "ATAMAD" to provide consumer microfinance solutions, increasing the number of licensed microfinance companies in the Kingdom to eight. This brings the total number of finance companies licensed by SAMA to 65.
This move aligns with SAMA’s efforts to enhance the financial sector, promote financial inclusion, and support innovative financial solutions. SAMA encourages dealing exclusively with authorized institutions. For more information, visit SAMA's official website.
