UAE, 26 February, 2025 : The Federal Tax Authority (FTA) has officially registered the intellectual property for its "Muwafaq" package, reinforcing its commitment to innovation and business efficiency. Announced as part of UAE InnoVATes 2025, this initiative is designed to support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the UAE.
The FTA highlighted that "Muwafaq" aims to enhance SME tax compliance by offering tailored solutions, facilitation measures, and educational resources. H.E. Khalid Ali Al Bustani, Director-General of the FTA, emphasized that this step strengthens the Authority’s role in delivering innovative tax services while supporting regulatory compliance and operational efficiency.
Through this initiative, the FTA continues to align with the UAE leadership’s vision of fostering institutional excellence and future readiness in tax administration.
