UAE, 4 March, 2025 : Investopia 2025 hosted the China-Arab Entrepreneurs Summit under the theme “Seizing New Opportunities.” The event welcomed Abdullah bin Touq Al Marri, UAE Minister of Economy, Jean-Pierre Raffarin, former Prime Minister of France, and Zhao Liang, Charge d’Affaires of the Chinese Embassy in the UAE.
With over 400 business leaders and 18 speakers, the summit highlighted UAE-China economic relations. Minister Bin Touq emphasized the UAE’s commitment to strengthening its partnership with China, noting the 15,500 Chinese companies operating in the UAE and $6 billion in Chinese investments across key sectors.
The UAE, China’s largest trading partner in the MENA region, supports the Belt and Road Initiative to boost trade and investment. Bin Touq stressed the importance of technology, innovation, and entrepreneurship in driving future economic collaboration.
Key sessions included discussions on AI, robotics, cross-border investments, and workforce empowerment. Jean-Pierre Raffarin highlighted the UAE’s role as a hub for Chinese businesses, while William Wang of SIEF noted the organization's efforts in connecting Chinese firms with UAE opportunities.
The summit also featured strategic agreements, with SIEF signing six new partnerships with institutions including Investopia, ADGM Academy, and Hub 71, further solidifying the UAE’s position as a global investment destination.
