UAE, 6 March, 2025 : The Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) and the Dhaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enhance trade relations and economic partnerships between the two countries.
The agreement aims to strengthen private sector collaboration, promote investment opportunities, and support participation in trade exhibitions to boost business growth.
The MoU was signed during a business meeting organized by SCCI and attended by Abdallah Sultan Al Owais, Chairman of SCCI; Taskeen Ahmed, President of DCCI; and Mohammed Ahmed Amin Al Awadi, Director-General of SCCI, alongside business leaders from both nations.
Al Owais reaffirmed SCCI’s commitment to supporting Bangladeshi businesses in expanding their operations, emphasizing the importance of strategic partnerships in sectors such as shipping, export, and logistics.
The Bangladeshi delegation expressed strong interest in strengthening cooperation in key industries, including e-commerce, medical services, and food manufacturing, aligning with both nations' sustainable development goals.
