HE Dr. Mohamed Bashar Adam emphasized the importance of leveraging financial and natural resources to strengthen cooperation, highlighting recent amendments to Sudan’s Investment Promotion Act to attract foreign investors.
Qatar Chamber Board Member Mohamed bin Ahmed Al Obaidli praised Qatar-Sudan relations and urged Qatari businesses to explore investment opportunities in Sudan, citing its rich natural resources. He described the economic entity as a strategic platform for private and public sector partnerships, with a digital bank to facilitate investments in Africa.
The entity will focus on four key sectors: industry, technology, food security, and mining, operating on a clearing system to streamline trade and investment.
