UAE, 4 April, 2025 : The Fujairah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FCCI) reported that the value of certificates of origin issued in 2024 exceeded AED 13 billion ($3.54 billion), reflecting an 18% increase compared to 2023.
The number of active trade licences registered with the FCCI grew to 11,503 in 2024, up 6% from 10,807 in the previous year. This growth was driven by the issuance of 1,375 new licences, marking a 7% increase, while renewed licences totaled 10,128, a 5% rise from 2023.
FCCI Director General Sultan Al Hindasi noted that the Chamber’s total membership reached 30,320 in 2024, compared to 28,937 in 2023, an increase of 4.8%. This growth underscores Fujairah’s rising attractiveness as a destination for investment and trade.
