Saudi, IMF Officials Meet to Strengthen Economic Partnership

KSA, 14 April, 2025 :  Saudi Vice Minister of Finance, Mr. Abdulmuhsen Alkhalaf, participated in a high-level strategic dialogue with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) held in Riyadh on April 9, 2025.

The meeting brought together IMF directors and Saudi officials to review the Capacity Development partnership between the Saudi Ministry of Finance and the IMF, including the work of the IMF Regional Office in the Kingdom.

In his remarks, Vice Minister Alkhalaf highlighted the historic and strategic nature of Saudi Arabia’s partnership with the IMF, noting the regional office’s contributions to capacity building and regional economic research.

The annual meeting aimed to assess the progress of joint initiatives and set future priorities to strengthen collaboration between Saudi Arabia and the IMF.
