UAE, 16 April, 2025 :Â Â The UAE Ministry of Finance has announced amendments to Ministerial Decision No. 82 of 2023, clarifying the requirements for audited financial statements under the Corporate Tax Law.
Under the updated decision, all tax groups must now prepare audited special purpose aggregated financial statements. However, to ease compliance, individual members of a tax group are not required to prepare separate audited stand-alone statements.
The Federal Tax Authority (FTA) will release detailed guidance on how tax groups should prepare these special-purpose statements.
The amendments also address Qualifying Free Zone Persons involved in distribution activities within or from Designated Zones. Further guidance will be issued by the FTA to ensure such businesses can continue benefiting from the Free Zone tax regime with clarity.
