Oman, 23 April, 2025 : The Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI) hosted an Omani-Libyan Business Forum in Muscat, coinciding with a visit by a Libyan trade delegation.
Held under the patronage of Eng. Hamoud Salim Al Saadi, Second Deputy Chairman of the OCCI Board, the forum aimed to boost economic ties and explore commercial partnerships between the two countries.
Key sectors discussed included food security, construction, medical supplies, energy, IT, oil services, and media. The event brought together investors, exporters, importers, and producers to identify joint investment opportunities.
Al Saadi emphasized the forum’s role in strengthening bilateral relations and advancing private-sector collaboration. Libyan delegation head Al Arif Al Qajiji reaffirmed his country’s commitment to fostering sustainable economic partnerships and promoting joint projects.
