Bahrain, 24 April, 2025 : Bahrain and Kyrgyzstan deepened their diplomatic and economic ties as His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa hosted Kyrgyz President Sadyr Zhaparov at Gudaibiya Palace for high-level talks and a series of agreement signings.
The two leaders reviewed existing relations and discussed ways to boost cooperation, particularly in trade, investment, economy, health, sports, culture, youth, and judicial matters. They welcomed the signing of several agreements and memoranda of understanding (MoUs) aimed at enhancing bilateral collaboration.
President Zhaparov received an official welcome before engaging in discussions with King Hamad. The talks were followed by a luncheon hosted in honor of the Kyrgyz delegation. Bahrain’s delegation was led by Foreign Minister Dr Abdullatif Al Zayani.
In the presence of both leaders, the two sides signed nine agreements and MoUs covering key sectors:

Healthcare

Cultural exchange

Youth engagement

Legal and judicial cooperation

Religious affairs

Business sector collaboration through chambers of commerce
