Oman Hosts Libyan Delegation to Boost Bilateral Economic Cooperation

Oman, 28 April, 2025 : The Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI) hosted a high-level Libyan business delegation in Muscat for the Omani-Libyan Business Forum, aimed at enhancing bilateral economic relations. The forum, attended by representatives from 17 Libyan companies, explored cooperation and investment opportunities in sectors such as food security, infrastructure, medical industries, renewable energy, technology, and healthcare services.

Hamoud al Saadi, Second Vice-Chairman of OCCI, emphasized the forum’s role in strengthening cross-border commercial ties. He highlighted the sectors of mutual interest and aligned with Oman’s national priorities.

Issa al Bahlani, Member of OCCI's Labour Market Committee, underscored the strategic importance of such forums, noting that they attract international investors seeking opportunities in Oman’s key sectors, including food, healthcare, and construction.

The event marks a significant step in fostering economic collaboration between the two nations.
