KSA, 29 April, 2025 : The Saudi Arabian delegation, led by Minister of Finance H.E. Mohammed Aljadaan, concluded its participation in the 2025 Spring Meetings of the World Bank Group and International Monetary Fund held from April 21–26. During the meetings, Minister Aljadaan engaged in high-level discussions including the MENAP Ministers and Governors Meeting, the Global Sovereign Debt Roundtable, and the World Bank’s Development Committee. He emphasized the need for stronger regional and global cooperation, enhanced debt transparency, and unified efforts to boost economic recovery amid global challenges.
On the sidelines, Aljadaan held bilateral talks with finance ministers, central bank governors, and heads of international banks to strengthen economic ties. Meanwhile, Vice Minister of Finance H.E. Abdulmuhsen Alkhalaf participated in a J.P. Morgan seminar on the Saudi economy and joined the Lebanon Roundtable, underscoring the need for reforms and sustainable financial support. Assistant Minister Abdullah BinZaraah contributed to discussions on social protection and data-driven policymaking, representing the Kingdom's commitment to international cooperation and policy development under Vision 2030.
