Qatar, Russia Boost Tax Cooperation and Digital Integration

Qatar, 1 May, 2025 : Qatar’s General Tax Authority and Russia’s Federal Tax Service held a virtual meeting to enhance technical cooperation and share digital tax expertise.

Chaired by H.E. Khalifa bin Jassim Al-Kuwari and H.E. Daniil Egorov, the session focused on adopting modern digital technologies, improving tax compliance, and aligning with international standards.

Russian digital models were reviewed for potential application in Qatar’s tax systems, aiming to improve efficiency, transparency, and service delivery.

The collaboration supports both countries’ economic goals, promotes sustainable development, and advances efforts to build integrated, tech-driven tax administrations.
