UAE Highlights Global Role with Launch of Economic Diplomacy Report

UAE, 6 May, 2025 : The Anwar Gargash Diplomatic Academy (AGDA) has launched the UAE Economic Diplomacy Report 2024–2025 at a high-level event in Abu Dhabi, underscoring the country’s growing influence in global economic affairs.

The report explores the UAE’s strategic use of trade, aid, and investment to build global partnerships and support sustainable development. It highlights key diplomatic milestones in 2024 and addresses global economic trends, including the UAE’s involvement in BRICS, the New Development Bank, and the WTO’s Abu Dhabi Ministerial Declaration.

Senior UAE officials, including Dr. Thani Al Zeyoudi and Ahmed Al Sayegh, attended the launch, emphasising the UAE’s role as a global economic bridge and proponent of inclusive, forward-looking diplomacy. AGDA leaders and experts described the report as both a strategic tool and an educational resource for future diplomats.
