Qatar and Russia Boost Cooperation on Digital Tax Systems

Qatar, 6 May, 2025 : Qatar’s General Tax Authority and Russia’s Federal Tax Service held a virtual meeting to enhance bilateral cooperation in tax administration and digital transformation.

Chaired by H.E. Khalifa Al-Kuwari and H.E. Daniil Egorov, the discussions focused on adopting modern digital technologies, sharing expertise in tax compliance, and aligning with international standards.

The meeting also reviewed Russian digital tax models and explored their potential application in Qatar. Both sides agreed the collaboration will strengthen tax system efficiency, promote transparency, and support broader economic and development goals.
