Oman, 09 June, 2025 : The Tax Authority has intensified its third phase of the “Tax Culture Initiative”, rolling out extensive awareness activities across Al Batinah North and South Governorates. The initiative, in partnership with public and private entities, aims to simplify tax concepts and promote voluntary compliance among community members.
Last week, Tax Authority teams were present at key commercial centers including Nesto Hypermarket (Saham), City Centre (Sohar), Lulu Hypermarket, Grand Center (Barka), and Golden Dragon Markets, offering onsite tax services and guidance to the public.
Educational workshops were also held at Sohar University, Saham Vocational College, and the Omani Women's Association in Sohar, focusing on tax procedures and the role of individuals—especially women—in fostering a tax-aware society.
The initiative reflects the Authority’s continued commitment to building a tax-informed community and supporting a sustainable national economy.
