Oman and Angola Sign Tax Treaty to Strengthen Cross-Border Investment

Oman, 24 September, 2026: The Sultanate of Oman and the Republic of Angola have signed an agreement to eliminate double taxation on income and prevent tax evasion and avoidance.

The agreement aims to:

• Strengthen tax and economic cooperation between the two countries
• Support trade and investment relations
• Provide greater tax certainty and transparency for businesses and investors
• Develop Oman’s network of international tax agreements

The treaty is expected to create a more stable tax environment for companies and individuals earning income or conducting economic activities in both countries.
