FTA Expands Innovative Reach: Collaboration with 01GOV Platform for Tax 10 Platform Growth

UAE, 21 February, 2024 : In a significant move towards modernizing and enhancing tax services, the Federal Tax Authority (FTA) has announced a strategic collaboration with the 01GOV Platform. This partnership, formed as part of the 'UAE InnoVATes 2024' initiative, seeks to revolutionize tax administration in the country.

Under the agreement, the FTA will leverage the expertise and technological capabilities of the 01GOV Platform to expand the utilization of its innovative TAX 10 platform. Launched last year, TAX 10 was designed to encourage innovation and excellence among FTA employees while upgrading service delivery and driving sustainable development.

The collaboration signifies the FTA's commitment to fostering a culture of innovation within the public sector. By collaborating with 01GOV, the authority aims to enhance cooperation among various government entities, academic institutions, and tax authorities across the region. This collective effort is poised to elevate standards of service delivery and establish the UAE as a model for leveraging advanced technology in government services.

H.E. Khalid Ali Al Bustani, Director General of the FTA, emphasized the importance of strategic partnerships in driving innovation. He stated, "Our collaboration with 01GOV marks a significant milestone in our journey towards modernizing tax services in the UAE. Jassim Al-Haddad, Head of the FTA’s Innovation Team, highlighted the potential impact of the collaboration. "Expanding access to the TAX 10 platform will facilitate regional cooperation and provide valuable insights for tax authorities across the GCC countries. Furthermore, it will empower government entities, academic institutions, and the wider community by offering access to innovative tools and resources," he said.

The TAX 10 platform stands as a pioneering initiative in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, offering a wealth of content on government innovation and best practices in the tax sector.
