UAE, 29 February, 2024 : The Polish Business Council recently launched at Dubai Chambers aims to bolster ties between Poland and the UAE and tap into business opportunities. The Polish community in the UAE has nearly doubled since 2020 to around 9,000 citizens.
Polish software firms are prominent in the UAE, with efforts underway to attract businesses from various sectors, including food and renewable energy. The UAE's strategic location as a gateway to Africa and its diverse population offer unique prospects for Polish businesses.
Poland has strengthened cooperation with the UAE, with President Andrzej Duda visiting twice last year. The UAE's comprehensive economic partnerships, including with India and Indonesia, facilitate trade.
Jacek Tomczak, Poland’s Deputy Minister for Development and Technology, highlighted the importance of initiatives like the Polish Business Council for fostering joint projects. Maciej Bialko, the council's chairman, emphasized the need for patience and understanding of local culture for success in the UAE market.
