UAE-Egypt Summit Strengthens Bilateral Relations in Cairo Meeting

UAE, 25 March, 2024 :  President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi of Egypt convened in Cairo to fortify bilateral ties and explore avenues for further cooperation across economic, developmental, and political domains. They deliberated on regional dynamics, particularly focusing on addressing the humanitarian crisis in Gaza, advocating for a durable ceasefire, and advancing the two-state solution for lasting peace in the Middle East.

Reaffirming the robust relations between the UAE and Egypt, both leaders underscored the importance of sustained dialogue and coordination to bolster stability, security, and prosperity in the region. President El-Sisi hosted an Iftar in honor of Sheikh Mohamed and the UAE delegation, attended by high-profile officials from both sides.

The meeting concluded with President El-Sisi bidding farewell to Sheikh Mohamed at the airport, marking the end of his visit to Egypt.
