UAE and Paraguay Presidents Discuss Bilateral Ties and Regional Concerns

UAE, 26 March, 2024 : President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and President Santiago Peña of Paraguay held a telephone conversation to discuss bilateral relations, with a focus on development, economy, trade, renewable energy, and food security. Both leaders affirmed their commitment to enhancing collaboration for mutual benefit.

Sheikh Mohamed reiterated the UAE's dedication to expanding economic and developmental partnerships globally, aiming for the prosperity of all nations and their peoples.

The leaders also addressed regional and international developments, particularly the humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip. They emphasized the urgency of international action to support the political process and strive for a comprehensive, just, and lasting peace based on the two-state solution for regional security and stability.
