Qatar-India Trade Volume Exceeds $17.85 Billion, Highlighted at Madre's Annual Business Excellence Awards

Qatar, 15 April, 2024 : The trade volume between Qatar and India has surged past $17.85 billion, bolstered by exports of LNG, LPG, and crude oil, according to the Indian Ambassador to Qatar, H.E. Vipul.

Speaking at the Annual Business Excellence Awards 2023 hosted by Madre Integrated Engineering, Ambassador Vipul highlighted the strengthening bilateral ties. He emphasized the growing opportunities for Indian companies and workers in Qatar, with increasing investments from Qatar into India over recent months.

Attended by Madre's CEO, Stijo Sebastian, COO, Melvin Mathew, and other dignitaries including Professor Dr. Raghunath Subramanyam from IIMB, the event celebrated the company's commitment to sustainability and community engagement.

Mohsin Ali, Madre's Chief Strategy Officer, discussed the company's adherence to Sustainable Development Goals and environmental regulations. He highlighted Madre's initiative 'Greening the Corridor for the Future', pledging a tree for each employee to contribute to Qatar's environment.

Additionally, Madre’s ‘Blood (Hope) to Survive’ campaign encourages employee blood donations, reflecting the company's commitment to community welfare.

Ali concluded by acknowledging the dedication and innovation that have positioned Madre as an industry leader, with values of excellence and integrity at its core.
