Qatar , 22 April, 2024 : The General Tax Authority (GTA) has announced April 30 as the deadline for submitting tax returns for the 2023 tax year. All entities, including individuals and companies, governed by the Income Tax Law (Law No. 24 of 2018) and its amendments must comply. This includes entities wholly owned by Qataris or other GCC nationals, and companies exempt from Income Tax or with non-Qatari partners.
Companies with a commercial registry or license, regardless of their commercial activity, are required to file tax returns. The GTA urges taxpayers to submit their returns, either simplified or audited by accredited accounting offices, through the Dhareeba tax portal (www.dhareeba.qa) or Dhareeba Application before the deadline. Including final accounts is mandatory to avoid penalties and late fees.
Emphasizing tax compliance, the GTA offers support to taxpayers through its call center at 16565 and email at support@dhareeba.qa
