Saudi Arabia and Nigeria Discuss Agricultural Cooperation and Economic Ties

KSA, 11 May, 2024 : Saudi Arabia's Minister of Environment, Water, and Agriculture, Eng. Abdulrahman Alfadley, engaged in discussions with Nigeria’s Minister of Agriculture and Food Security, Sen. Abubakar Kyari, during a visit to the country as part of his African tour.

The meeting aimed to explore investment opportunities and strengthen trade ties, particularly in the agriculture and food security sectors between the two nations.

Key topics included cooperation across various sectors, with a focus on agricultural collaborations, investment potentials, and the exchange of agricultural resources and food products.

This meeting follows the Saudi-African Summit held in November 2023, underscoring Saudi Arabia's commitment to fostering partnerships with African states, particularly in agriculture and food security, crucial for both economic growth and sustainability.
