ZATCA Urges Taxpayers to Benefit from Penalty Waiver Initiative Before 30 June Deadline

KSA, 09 June, 2025 : The Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA) is urging taxpayers in Saudi Arabia to take advantage of the “Cancellation of Fines and Exemption of Penalties” initiative, which ends on 30 June 2025.

The initiative covers late registration, late payment, late filing, VAT return corrections, and e-invoicing violations. It excludes tax evasion fines and those paid before the initiative began.

To qualify, taxpayers must:

  • Be registered in the tax system

  • Submit all outstanding returns

  • Pay the full principal tax amount

  • Or apply for an installment plan before the deadline

ZATCA encourages taxpayers to review the full details on its website (zatca.gov.sa) or contact them via the 24/7 call center (19993), email (info@zatca.gov.sa), or on X (@Zatca_Care).
