KSA, 16 May, 2024 : Saudi Minister of Investment, Eng. Khalid Al-Falih, highlighted the UK's status as the Kingdom's second-largest foreign investor, with investments totaling around $16 billion. Speaking at the Great Futures Initiative Conference, Al-Falih emphasized the enduring Saudi-British relations. He noted the pivotal role of banks and financial ventures in driving the investment sector, citing Saudi Arabia's rapid economic growth over the past six years.
During the conference, UK Minister for Business and Trade, Lord Dominic Johnson, praised the Kingdom's achievements in expanding joint economic ventures. He expressed confidence in continued economic cooperation between the two nations, underscoring the UK's commitment to participating in Saudi Arabia's development. Johnson commended the Kingdom's remarkable progress and the favorable investment environment, highlighting the abundant opportunities available to British investors in Saudi Arabia.
