KSA, 25 June, 2024 : Saudi Arabia's Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Eng. Waleed Al-Khereiji, met with Iran’s Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ali Bagheri Kani, in Tehran during the 19th meeting of the Asia Cooperation Dialogue Forum (ACD) foreign ministers. Al-Khereiji led the Saudi delegation in place of Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan.
The discussions centered on enhancing bilateral relations between Saudi Arabia and Iran. Kani highlighted the positive trajectory of Saudi-Iranian relations, emphasizing Iran's commitment to comprehensive cooperation with Saudi Arabia. He expressed mutual interest in promoting stability in the region.
The ministers regularly engage in dialogue via phone calls and meetings to strengthen bilateral ties and address regional and international developments.
