ZATCA Urges Taxpayers to Avail Fine Cancellation Initiative Before December 31 Deadline

KSA, 07 August, 2025 : The Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA) is reminding taxpayers to take advantage of the “Cancellation of Fines and Exemption of Penalties Initiative,” which runs until 31 December 2025.

The initiative waives fines for late registration, late payments, late return filings, VAT return corrections, and e-invoicing violations—provided taxpayers are registered, submit all pending returns, and settle the principal tax amounts. Taxpayers may also request installment plans during the initiative period, with timely payment of all due installments.

Penalties related to tax evasion or those paid before the initiative’s start are not covered.

Details are available in a simplified guide on zatca.gov.sa. For support, taxpayers can contact the 24/7 call center at 19993, reach out via X (@Zatca_Care), email info@zatca.gov.sa, or use the website’s live chat feature.
