British-Saudi Forum Highlights Renewable Energy and Infrastructure Investments

KSA, 26 June, 2024 :  British investors are showing strong interest in Saudi Arabia's renewable energy and sustainable infrastructure sectors, aligning with Vision 2030. This was highlighted at the British-Saudi Sustainable Infrastructure Summit, organized by the Saudi-British Business Council and the City of London Corporation.

The summit featured representatives from Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Investment and over 250 policymakers, industry leaders, and executives from both countries. Key investment opportunities were discussed, particularly in Saudi Arabia’s major projects: NEOM, Qiddiya, the Red Sea Project, Roshen, and Diriyah. The event emphasized the development of sustainable infrastructure, financing strategies, and the future of green technologies.

This initiative reflects growing economic ties between the UK and Saudi Arabia, with trade volume reaching approximately SR25.7 billion, a 13.8% growth. Britain ranks 25th among Saudi Arabia’s export partners and 10th for imports.
