UAE, 28 June, 2024 : The Dubai Chamber of Commerce has announced the establishment of the Colombian Business Council to enhance bilateral trade and investment between Dubai and Colombia. The council's inaugural meeting focused on setting key priorities and planning future events to boost economic cooperation in promising sectors for both markets.
Maha Al Gargawi, Vice President of Business Advocacy at Dubai Chambers, emphasized the importance of Business Councils in fostering cooperation and building partnerships that contribute to the growth of Dubai's private sector and sustainable economic development.
The Business Councils under the Dubai Chamber of Commerce represent the interests of companies from strategically important markets, promoting economic cooperation and supporting investors in Dubai. As part of the Dubai Economic Agenda (D33), the chamber aims to increase the number of country-specific Business Councils to enhance foreign trade and support local companies' global expansion.
