KSA, 5 July, 2024 : Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Environment, Water, and Agriculture has signed a memorandum of understanding with Romania's Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development. The agreement, signed in Riyadh, aims to bolster cooperation in agriculture and support Saudi Vision 2030.
The memorandum focuses on enhancing agricultural and rural development, utilizing modern technologies to boost production, and improving animal and plant resource management. Goals include advancing livestock breeding, promoting animal health, ensuring food security, and achieving sustainable economic growth.
The two countries also plan to increase trade in agricultural products and collaborate on agricultural research, particularly in field crops and plant varieties, as well as modern beekeeping technology.
