Oman, 17 July, 2024 : Oman's gross domestic product (GDP) at constant prices grew by 1.7% in the first quarter of 2024, reaching RO 9,537.0 million, up from RO 9,373.9 million in Q1 2023, according to preliminary data from the National Center for Statistics and Information (NCSI).
Crude petroleum activities fell by 3.3% to RO 2,554.9 million, while natural gas activities rose by 3% to RO 437.1 million. Non-oil activities saw a 4.5% increase, reaching RO 6,803.3 million compared to RO 6,511.7 million in Q1 2023.
Industrial activities grew to RO 1,988.1 million from RO 1,881.7 million, agriculture, forestry, and fishing activities reached RO 219 million, and service activities recorded RO 4,596.2 million.
