UAE, 27 August, 2024 : The Federation of GCC Chambers is set to organize the second Gulf-Azerbaijan Economic Forum on September 25-26 in Baku, under the theme "Sustainability, Investments, Partnerships." The event, aimed at strengthening economic ties, is organized in collaboration with AZPROMO and supported by Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Economy and the GCC General Secretariat.

Faisal bin Abdullah Al-Rawwas, President of the Federation, highlighted the forum's focus on enhancing trade relations and exploring investment opportunities in key sectors like food security, renewable energy, logistics, and transportation. The event will also spotlight joint projects to boost trade and investment between the GCC countries and Azerbaijan.

In 2023, trade between the GCC and Azerbaijan reached $1.8 billion, with Gulf investments in Azerbaijan totaling $7 billion. The forum underscores Azerbaijan’s growing economic appeal and the Federation’s commitment to fostering stronger economic partnerships.
