Qatar, 3 September, 2024 : The 13th meeting of the Committee of Heads and Directors of Tax Departments from GCC countries concluded in Doha, hosted by Qatar's General Tax Authority (GTA). The meeting focused on enhancing tax policies, sharing expertise, and improving tax coordination across the GCC.
H.E. Mr. Khalifa bin Jassim Al-Kuwari, President of the GTA, praised the collaborative efforts, noting that the meeting highlighted the strength of Gulf cooperation. He emphasized Qatar's commitment to advancing GCC tax integration, which aims to improve tax system efficiency and transparency.
GCC tax leaders commended Qatar’s exceptional hosting and underlined the importance of regular meetings to foster knowledge exchange and policy development. The discussions are expected to further economic integration and benefit all GCC member states.
