KSA, 9 September, 2024 : Khalid Bawazier, Saudi Arabia's Deputy Minister of Finance for International Relations, led the Kingdom's delegation at the 114th Economic and Social Council meeting of the Arab League, held in Cairo. The council addressed key economic and social issues aimed at enhancing joint Arab cooperation and advancing sustainable development.
In his speech, Bawazier emphasized Saudi Arabia's pivotal role in supporting regional projects in sectors like energy and infrastructure. He highlighted the Kingdom's efforts to promote trade, create jobs, and foster integrated growth across Arab economies, while reinforcing its commitment to the 2030 Sustainable Development Plan.
The Economic and Social Council, which meets twice a year, focuses on promoting economic cooperation and facilitating trade among Arab states.
