Oman, 19 September, 2024 : Oman Airports hosted the first GCC Airports CEOs Forum in Muscat, with the participation of CEOs from across the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC). The event focused on enhancing cooperation between Gulf airports to drive economic growth and advance the aviation sector in the region.
The forum, part of efforts to foster economic integration and support the shared goals of GCC countries, emphasized the importance of infrastructure investment and improving services to meet the growing demand for air travel.
Sheikh Aimen bin Ahmed Al Hosni, CEO of Oman Airports, highlighted the forum as a platform to strengthen collaboration between Gulf airports. Discussions included the possibility of launching a regional alliance for Middle Eastern airports to further the region’s strategic ambitions.
