KSA, 01 October, 2024 : Saudi Minister of Commerce Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Kassabi met with Maldivian Minister of Economic Development and Trade Mohamed Saeed on Monday to strengthen trade ties between the two nations.
During the meeting, the Saudi General Authority for Foreign Trade and the Maldivian Ministry signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) aimed at enhancing trade in goods and services. The agreement addresses the removal of obstacles and challenges faced by both parties in accordance with local regulations.
The MoU promotes the exchange of expertise, market research, and information related to commercial fields, while encouraging participation in exhibitions and forums to explore trade opportunities. Additionally, it facilitates the exchange of business opportunities and mutual advice, including the use of digital platforms to showcase available trade options and relevant policies.
