KSA, 04 October, 2024 : The Saudi-Georgian Business Forum, held today in Tbilisi and organized by the Federation of Saudi Chambers (FSC), resulted in the signing of several significant trade agreements and partnerships between investors from both countries. Over 200 companies from Saudi Arabia and Georgia participated.
FSC President Hassan bin Moejeb Al-Huwaizi, Saudi Business Council Chairman Ahmed Al-Dakhil, and Saudi Ambassador to Georgia Salman Al-Sheikh were among the prominent attendees. The forum focused on investment opportunities in sectors such as transportation, logistics, agriculture, tourism, real estate, infrastructure, and renewable energy.
Al-Huwaizi emphasized the need for a future vision to strengthen trade partnerships, while Al-Dakhil urged the removal of obstacles hindering trade and investment growth. The Saudi-Georgian Joint Business Council also met to discuss initiatives to enhance economic cooperation.
In 2023, trade between Saudi Arabia and Georgia reached SAR 162 million, with the forum aiming to elevate this exchange to new heights.
