Oman, 14 October, 2024 : ASYAD Group and Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Investment, Industry, and Trade signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) in Tashkent to explore business opportunities in logistics and supply chains between the two countries.
The agreement was signed by Sheikh Nasser Sulaiman Al Harthy, Deputy President for Operations at Oman Investment Authority and Chairman of ASYAD Group, and Laziz Kudratov, Uzbekistan’s Minister of Investment, Industry, and Trade.
The MoU focuses on leveraging ASYAD’s expertise in managing land ports, railways, warehouses, air cargo, last-mile delivery, and e-commerce solutions.
The signing was attended by Oman’s Ambassador to Uzbekistan, Sayyida Wafa Jabr Al Busaidi, and ASYAD Group CEO, Eng. Abdulrahman Salim Al Hatmi.
